An in-depth investigation of the unique experiences of women around the world: how they live, love, work, dress, celebrate, lead, inspire and persevere.

 

Part travel program, part human interest series, Miss Matters is an exploration of the everyday lives and labors of women around the globe. Each episode follows our host to a new country where she interacts with local women, experts and learns about historical and current political and social challenges and successes particular to the female population of the country. Interviews are combined with footage overlaid with VO to provide extra historical context and statistics. Local experts range from activists to government officials and anthropologists to native celebrities.
